I'm participating in this event because it is being done in honor of my son, my hero. He died saving others. There is no greater act of love than the sacrifice of one's own life for someone else's. It makes me proud. It also makes me want to give, to make a difference somehow. So I will be biking and rucking with others, some who knew and loved Dave, too, and others who have their own hero's to whom they will pay tribute. In the end, all of our efforts will combine to raise money to help those who help defend life and freedom around the world.
$100.00 donated of $1,000.00 goal
I want to give something back to the men who put everything on the line in some of the most dangerous situations in the world. Help me to help these heroes as I participate virtually in this Friday Rucking/Saturday Biking event.
$625.00 donated of $500.00 goal
I'm participating in this event because David was a co-worker of mine who was KIA Nov 27th 2014. We take care of our own at work so I want to help out in anyway I can.

Please join me in contributing to the Green Beret Foundation in honor and loving memory of my brother. David lived a bold life. He was courageous, strong, brave, compassionate, and full of life. He was someone you could count on. Someone you wanted to be around. Someone who wouldn’t give up. What an honor to get to be a part of continuing his legacy – a privilege to keep the fire alive that burned brightly in him.
$730.00 donated of $2,500.00 goal
I'm proud to support the Green Beret Foundation by participating in the Hard Hitter GORUCK and Ride. My dearest friend's brother was a Green Beret. He was a hero and later lost his life in service to our country. She created this event to honor him and his sacrifice. The GBF has been there for many families who have lost heroes; we should be there, too, and this is one way we can help. Please contribute to this invaluable organization and the people it supports.
